NPower Transition: FMARD To Permanently Engage 75,000 Volunteers As On-boarding Commences

The news of disengagement of NPower volunteers has been the subject of discussion by various groups and media bodies but the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has maintained that it is in talks with MDAs, CBN and other private organisations to gainfully engage exiting volunteers to harness their potentials.

One of those break through is the inauguration of technical committee to revitalise agricultural extension services in Nigeria. The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Alhaji Muhammad Sabo Nanono has inaugurated the technical committee on the revitalization of extension services workers, stating that agricultural development in Nigeria requires an integrated approach to revive extension advisory services.
